Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy
Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy is a client centered process of exploring through the body that supports clients to release tension, access emotions, make life connections and connect to innate wisdom. It combines elements of yoga and mindfulness with contemporary body/mind psychology. Some clients chose this work to complement and support psychotherapy, others chose this as a primary and powerful modality for embodied presence.

Individual Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Sessions
A Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy session is a one-on-one, client -centered session that involves the body in the process of self-discovery and healing.
A session combines meditation, breath-work, assisted and supported yoga postures and compassionate dialogue. This non-prescriptive approach allows clients to explore sensations and emotions through their bodies. Clients often gain greater mental and emotional clarity around significant life issues, release tension in their bodies and gain a sense of physical, emotional and spiritual well being. No prior yoga or meditation experience is necessary. Sessions can be adapted to all levels of flexibility.
“By paying attention to sensation and its, corresponding emotions and thoughts, it is possible to find the answers to life’s questions on the inside…” Elissa Cobb
